Where to meet Father Christmas and other festive friends.

Presents on the big day are exciting but meeting Father Christmas himself is always a highlight of the season for any child. There are a number of grottoes and Christmas experiences on offer this year, with some selling out weeks in advance, so call or email us to secure your tickets and to make sure you get all the latest updates as soon as dates are announced for new events.

Harrods Christmas Grotto
Harrods, London
6 November to 24 December

Tickets on sale 14 September

One of the most popular grottoes by far, this magical experience never fails to sell out. This year, visitors can journey through Santa’s workshop before meeting him in person to receive a special gift. If you want to enjoy the festive surroundings a little longer, we recommend booking a Disney Christmas Café package which includes a buffet dinner, or a tea time visit, where children can enjoy their own mini version of this English tradition.

Meet Santa and his Huskies
London Wetland Centre, Barnes
5 and 6 December

Tickets on sale on the door

For something a little different to the traditional Santa’s grotto, we like this option in South London. Tickets can’t be pre-booked and must be purchased on the day. Children can enjoy meeting Santa, who has a gift for every child, and afterwards there are husky and donkey sleigh rides.
